Alana V. Allen

The Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications for the Division of Strategic Partnerships and Economic Development at North Carolina A&T, she is a results-driven communications professional with 15⁺ years of solid experience in government, nonprofits, corporate, and agency. She is also the founder and executive director of I Am A Queen, a youth development organization.

Kimberly C. Smith

An associate professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at North Carolina A&T State University. He has had a number of peer-reviewed articles on cybermourning, the future of journalism education in the 21st century and health literacy to name a few of his many accomplishments.

Gail Wiggins

She has over 30 years of teaching radio and television production courses at North Carolina A&T State University. She also has 25⁺ years of experience as a writer, producer, narrator, editor, videographer and voice-over talent for academic, commercial, and non-commercial projects in addition to five years of professional on-air broadcast experience.

Some Awards: Outstanding Educator of the Year, 2015-2016. Academic Advising Excellence Award, 2005-2006.
